they were tied from rami mixed with hemp dyed yamroot fabric.  The drawstrings bag is made from the hand embroidered brocade of the H'mong people. The bag has a separate small wallet for personal items. The cord was tied together in a special overhand knot bay the Dao Tuyen people's techniques.
